Old Office Building VS New Office Building

Hey there people, I've pre-occupied lately with work & ...facebook!. I can barely spare time to write anything, well...Just a quick update : I left my job in that prominent advertising agency and moved to what they call = the client side, doing brand activation. But that's not the point offcourse. I just realized that people are always comparing, like how many times you compare cell-phones before you finally get the right one, compare clothes, restaurants, plane fare, ex-lovers. Why? I dont know and Im not going to play amateur psychologist to reveal why people make comparison...I want to show the difference between Plaza Bapindo & One Pacific Place (those are buildings, for those of you who havent heard)

Plaza Bapindo

Location :
Just across senayan sport complex, you'll have the privillege to be first to know if soccer fans are going to block your way home
Entrance :
Simple, spacious, separated perfectly for cars, motorcycles, people, and monsters (monsters get inside from everywhere)
Exterior Look :
Modern yet ellegant, white marble for flooring and very specific blue-green color for glass window, signs & other accentuation.
Interior / Lobby :
Spacious with High ceiling, literally empty...
Parking :
Love it!, simple lay out, wide enough for even the biggest car in the world, perfect for disoriented people who forgets where they parked all the time
Food Court :
Much better than...say, mall ambasador's food court, it's clean & provides TVs (very important!), pricey though!
Smoking Area :
Secluded in the basement, quite comfy though, but people just smoke in the emergency stairs...
Security Guard's hospitality level :
 7-8
Access to / from location :
only from jalan sudirman, 10 minutes to Senopati Area
Free Shuttle Bus :
to FX and senayan city (but dont expect the senayan city shuttle)
Fascilities :
1. Ballroom, the best sholat jum'at venue ever!!!
2. Indomart, tukang pulsa, Barber Shop, Money Changer, Guardian, some 5 star restaurants
2. Best Bazaar ever!, regularly, Nike, MAP group & office wear clothing would have their annual sale here. usually before holiday, we can get jack nicklaus shirt and polo from as little as IDR 50.000

Pacific Place

Location : just at the heart of SCBD area, in a mega-block called One Pacific Place
Exterior Look : Contemporary-modern, grayish, using a lot of glass and dark flooring
Interior / Lobby : Small but cozy, with couches, and we have Ferrari showcased here!
Parking : Damn, You need atleast 3 months adaptation! i rather took the busway!
Food Court : 2 foodcourt in parking area 1 & 2, offcourse I dont count what's on Pacific Place mall yah...
Smoking Area : Outside the lobby, clean and outdoor...overlooking polda metro jaya (rasanya amaaan bgt hahaha)
Security Guard's hospitality level : 9, because they helped me pass trough the entrance when my access card wasnt ready
Access to / from location : 7 on them to sudirman, senopati, gatsu, tulodong etc. also access to Ritz Carlton, and pacific place mall, using only 1 elevator
Fascilities :
1. Free view of Ritz Carlton swimming pool & park
2. You can have bengawan solo coffee or sour sally and beard papa anytime you want!
3. Many elevators but took me more than 20 minutes to take money from atm BCA, and buy cigarette...:-(
4. Just visit pacificplace.com (hehehe)

PINTU TERLARANG **** (mystery, thriller - full with metaphores & analogy, surprising ending!)

First of All...

Happy New Year 2009

Hope you had a great one...

Let's start this new year with no resolution, yeah screw resolution!

Betapa bahagianya gue karena mengawali tahun 2009 dengan sebuah undangan screening "Pintu Terlarang", thanx to a friend who brought me there.

I'M A HUGE FAN of JOKO ANWAR. So you'll know how this review will end up.

My best scene comes when Gambir killed everyone while having christmas dinner. Whew... the blood and the mess reminds me of scenes from "Dara".

For those of you who thought this is a thriller/horror flick you're WRONG! Dead wrong!. This moviehas everything : the mystery the thrill as in creepy thriller movies, and also it's SURPRISING ENDING!. this movie is soooo Joko. Love the script, love the ending, love the retro props (sangat khas Joko), love how Fahcry Albar portrayed as a weak-indecisive man but when the blood splashes to his face, you'll know he's cold blooded.

Gue gak akan kasih tau endingnya, karena sama aja dengan membuka "Pintu Terlarang", Hahahah...but for sure, when it comes to Joko Anwar, you know it's damn perfect!
